Emma’s Pizzeria

In this confusing era of haute-cuisine pizza and the low-rent greasy stuff, we almost forgot what we were after—until we got to Emma’s. Sure, it’s got the fancier toppings, but it has also mastered that bygone gem: The Slice. Stroll in midday to pick up the lunch of champions for $1.50, then grab a seat the little counter and dig in. Word to the wise: Emma’s is already popular, so anyone wanting pizza for dinner better call and order in advance.
