The new Chestnut Hill restaurant got cold feet after initially billing itself as having “child-friendly” dining. To dispel any notions of Barney-shaped saltshakers, the owners told the press they would rather see this definition in print than the adjective “child-friendly”: “Red Clay is a restaurant with a cuisine and environment that will attract multi-generations, like the great community restaurants in Europe.”
