As they’ve flourished and expanded, this Cambridge fixture and its smaller South End sibling have become more epicurean temples than mere cheese shops, stocked with a mouthwatering array of prepared foods, impossible-to-find spices, small-production wines, and more. But old loves die hard, so we still head in specifically for the expertly presented fromag—soft, cakey Spanish Leonora; salty Greek Kasseri; and the nutty Bra Duro from Piedmont—and for staffers who are eager to offer samples and opine on their new favorite raw-milk tomme.
